                                    Spa Day for Group Members 

Objective

Provide a soothing, inclusive, and enriching experience to group members through customized spa-inspired activities, ensuring relaxation and enjoyment for participants of varying ability levels.

  1. Breathing Exercises and Aromatherapy (10 minutes)
    • Guided breathing exercises to promote relaxation.
    • Individualized aromatherapy with essential oils suited to participants' preferences.
  2. Mind-Body Relaxation (20 minutes)
    • Eye masks are provided for guided imagery exercises.
    • Music therapy with calming soundtracks or live soft instrumentals.
  3. Massage and Grooming (30 minutes)
    • Hand and foot massages with gentle, soothing strokes.
    • Hair brushing and beard grooming for interested participants.

Gentle Movement and Sitting Tips (15 minutes)

  • Gentle stretching routines adapted for seated participants.
  • Chair yoga or seated Tai Chi led by a trained facilitator.
  • Instruction on proper sitting posture and techniques to ease discomfort from extended sitting.
  1. Closure (5 minutes)
    • Participants are encouraged to share feedback or their favorite part of the session.
    • Participants acknowledge their change is stress status and take the techniques and aromatherapy gifts with them
